Humala Kalabaas boat rental in Southern Estonia offers custom-tuned boats designed specifically for comfortable fishing trips and scenic river travel on the Emajõgi. Ideal for small group nature tours, private boat trips, and fishing holidays in Estonia, our boats are adapted to maximize both practicality and enjoyment on the water.
All rentals include local guidance to the best fishing spots and peaceful nature locations, helping you experience the most of the Emajõe Suursoo wetlands. For those interested in a boat tour in Estonia or a nature day trip from Tartu, we also provide recommendations on local attractions, food experiences, and suggested routes for your river journey.
Each boat is equipped with navigation devices containing preloaded routes, hidden waterways, and exclusive points of interest, including custom-made maps not available in public navigation apps. This gives our guests a clear advantage when exploring “off the beaten path Estonia.” You’ll know where to refuel, where landing is possible outside official stops, which areas require caution, and how to reach partner destinations along the river.
With Humala Kalabaas, even in an unfamiliar area, you’ll know where to go, what to do, and how to navigate safely without getting lost—making it perfect for a private guided nature experience or self-guided boating adventure.
Some of our boats offer overnight accommodation for 2–4 people, eliminating the need for tents or separate lodging. Boats are equipped with camping stoves and kettles, allowing for a comfortable multi-day river trip, fishing expedition, or nature retreat.
By combining multiple boats, we can organize multi-family or small group boating routes to destinations such as Varnja, Piirissaar, Meerapalu, Tartu, and Võrtsjärv.
Before planning your boat rental in Estonia or fishing trip on the Emajõgi River, we kindly ask you to contact us in advance. This allows us to recommend the best solution based on your group size, travel plans, and equipment. Each boat has different handling characteristics, and for those with less boating experience, it can be difficult to assess what is realistically achievable.
To ensure the best possible experience, we tailor every recommendation based on your preferences and our extensive on-water experience. Humala Kalabaas is known for its high customer satisfaction and personalized service, and we aim to maintain that by guiding every guest toward the most suitable and rewarding nature experience.
It is our most popular boat among those who want to enjoy being on water slowly. Its a stabile boxy soviet-era self-made steel travelboat that we fine-tuned into a relaxing, spacious fishing boat. It has a heated cabin, mosquito net inside, vast fishing area , sunbathable roof, swinning ladder and lighting system that makes fishing at night also comfy. Many people use it also as just a floating accommodation on cruising river trips. With this boat, Peipsi and Võrtsjärv are off limits because of possible unsuitable weather conditions for this boat.
Its a stable trimaran-hull boat with a custom tent, bed space and mosquito net installed. Suitable for 1-2 day trips for small family or pairs. Does not have heating system. Ideal for exploring like a backpacker. Yes, it is a C-category boat but does not suite for longer Peipsi trips as depending on winds, there could be 1m + waves. Boats for Peipsi should be with closed bows.
Comfy small travel and fishing boat for any weather. Due to the high bow, it even handles 1+m Peipsi waves well, if the pilot understands, what to do. Heated cabin, swimming ladder, bed for 2, max 3 persons or parents with 2 small children. Small gas stove and kettle to boil water.
Coming soon. Its a 70´era Swedish trailerabe house-boat. Its a factory-made union from trailerable caravan and a boat. It will be an awesome boat to enjoy the water on. 😍
